Reate is a brand synonymous for building and producing high quality knives.  Our founder, David Deng, is a long-time knife enthusiast, with a background in mechanical design and manufacturing, he constantly strives for excellence and detailed perfection in all the knife designs produced by Reate.  We are capable of producing the highest quality knives for any market, and we use only the best professional production equipment to achieve that objective.  Such as; Wire EDM Precision Cutting, CNC high speed engraving machines, Laser engraving, Milling operations, CNC Grinding, Low Temperature Tempering Furnaces, custom hand finishing work, just to name a few.  Our management, and production teams consists of seasoned professionals that have the expertise to get the job done.  We are properly equipped for delicate work, all the way to the most demanding production and manufacturing requirements.  We hold some of the tightest tolerances in the knife industry; excelling at all levels of production projects.  We take great  pride in our customer service, resulting in return business.

We have worked with many great knife makers throughout the world, including the United States, Europe and Asia; producing and collaborating with them, as well as our own products, all with an emphasis on the highest quality produced, we can do the same for you!  While being more cost effective and in many cases, exceeding standards that other manufacturers simply cannot compete with.

Our goals it to make you happy, and hopefully give you that added edge to grow your business through diversification and allowing us to be your team to get the big jobs done many times over what you can do on any given day working alone.  We exist to complement what you do, so you can focus on growing your company and be able to have the time to work on other projects that you have been just too busy to get to or simply have more time with family.  Many knife makers work 16+ hours a day to make a few knives, when we can make you hundreds with the same high quality in a much shorter timeframe.  With that said, we are your team to help get the job done the way you want it!

We purchase high quality blade steel and materials directly from the U.S.A, Germany and Japan.  Common steels we use in our manufacturing process are: Bohler M390, S35VN, S30V, S90V, VG10, RWL34, and Damascus.; we are always on the “cutting edge”.   Handle materials we use include: Titanium 6AL4V, Carbon Fiber, G10, Copper, Aluminum, Wood, as well as other natural materials.

We also design and make our own knives, and have produced fine work for some of the top knife makers in the world, easily adhering to their high quality standards.  We believe in producing knives that exude quality, and we constantly strive to innovate, which we know is one of the keys to developmental progression.
